WheneverIf there is a serious injury or illness, a death or a dangerous incident, you hiremust newreport workers, it's important that you incorporate safety into their inductionit to theus worksiteimmediately on before13 they10 start50 theiras job.an urgent investigation may be needed.

WheneverYou youmust hiretake newcare workers,not it'sto importantdisturb thatthe youincident incorporatescene until an inspector arrives at the site, or until direction is given by an inspector. You can help an injured person and ensure safety into their induction toof the worksite – before they start their job. Not only will this help them understand how to do their work safely, it will let them know that you take safety seriously.site.

UseIncidents can be notified 24 hours a checklistday, to7 make the induction easier and more thorough. Keep the checklist on file asdays a recordweek ofby employeecalling training.13 10 50.

InductionYou topicsmust need to include:also:

  • rightsprovide first aid and responsibilitiesmake sure the worker gets the right care
  • workplacerecord hazardsit in the register of injuries
  • notify your insurer within 48 hours.

Please note that your responsibility to not disturb the incident scene does not prevent any action to:

  • assist an injured person
  • remove a deceased person
  • make the site safe
  • work
  • assist procedures.with a police investigation, if directed
  • comply with an inspector request.
